General Questions/New to Joomla! 4.x • Admin template with top menu, not sidebar?

I'm sure the sidebar menu in the Atum template must be possible to move to the top, 'cos nobody in 2024 would be dumb enough to decide that forcibly annexing so much screen real-estate for displaying menus is a good idea ... right?

Am I missing some configuration option? Or if this idiocy isn't reversible, has anyone written a usable administration template for J4.0+?
