So you did the update without any backup, despite, being advised (at least three times during the migration process) to make a backup?
Whether that was done through Akeeba Backup (not installed in this case) or through your web host, you should have the means in cPanel (your web hosting panel) to make a manual backup in the "backups" section. The alternative would have been to export the database through phpMYAdmin. The database is the most important aspect of your site.
